CARRIED BY GRACE
(Inspired by “10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord)” performed by Matt Redman)
When life feels unstable—when the “mountains shake” and the future seems uncertain—the lyrics of this song call believers back to where their confidence must rest: not in circumstances, but in the unwavering love of God. “His love is like the mighty ocean… strong enough to carry me.” This is not sentimentalism. It is spiritual reality.

The Christian life is not immune to hardship. In fact, Scripture reminds us repeatedly that trials are a normal part of the journey (John 16:33). Whether it’s financial strain, grief, parenting fatigue, cultural confusion, or quiet spiritual dryness, we all experience moments when our soul feels “lost at sea.” Yet this song points our gaze upward—to Christ, our rock, our vision, our anchor.

God’s grace is not just sufficient in theory—it is the very power that sustains us through every storm. As the chorus declares, His arms carry us “through it all, by the grace of God.” That grace meets us in our weakness, lifts us when we’re weary, and reminds us that our story doesn’t end at the grave. Our hope is anchored in the One who holds all things together, including us.

A Biblical worldview helps us see suffering through the lens of God’s redemptive plan. Even when breath grows still and night draws near, we are not abandoned. We are carried. Our value isn’t determined by our strength, but by His. Jesus is the passion of our lives, the song within our souls, the source of all strength and hope.

Today, let your life reflect that conviction—not just with words, but with trust that runs deep, unshaken by the waves.
PRAYER
Jesus, thank You for being the anchor of my soul. When I feel overwhelmed or uncertain, remind me that Your love never stops and Your grace is enough to carry me through. Help me rest in Your strength today.
APPLICATION
Write down one area of life where you feel adrift and pray, declaring God’s love and grace over that situation. Trust that He is carrying you.
